What we collect now

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. They are not submitted to a OzCalc server and are not stored in an account, because there are no accounts.

If you save a favourite or use a calculator, this device may keep a short list of slugs in local storage. Share links put non-sensitive inputs in the page URL so the calculation can be restored. Do not put private information into a calculator field if you plan to share the link.

Hosting

The website is served over HTTPS. The hosting provider may process standard server logs such as IP address, user agent and requested URL as part of delivering the pages. We do not use that to build a personal profile.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

OzCalc uses Google Analytics (gtag.js) and Vercel Analytics to see which pages are used. Both receive the page path. Calculator inputs and the query strings on share links are not sent. Google processes Analytics data under Google's privacy policy. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free and is processed under Vercel's privacy policy. You can block analytics scripts with your browser or an extension.

OzCalc loads Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-1293315231352902) so Auto ads can appear. Google may set advertising cookies. Calculator inputs and share-link query strings are not sent to AdSense. Ads are not placed inside calculator inputs or results by this site; Auto ads are positioned by Google around the page. A theme preference may be stored locally so the colour scheme can persist.

A Ko-fi tip button loads a script from Ko-fi so people can support the site. Using that button takes you to Ko-fi's website, which has its own privacy policy. Calculator inputs are not sent to Ko-fi.

Clear local data

This removes recently used calculators and favourites from this browser. It does not affect other devices.
